What you will learn.

You will learn about what compassionate communication is and why it is important.

You will learn about the framework of compassion espoused by Dr. Marshal Rosenberg: two frames, three modes, four ingredients.

You will practice preparing for a difficult conversation.

You will learn to know and identify the four ingredients of compassionate talk: Observations, Feelings, Needs and Requests.

You will develop an understanding of the three modes: Self Connection, Honest Self-expression and Empathic Listening.

You will learn about hard-to-hear messages and Intention and Attention which frame your authentic response.
